Yes. The volunteer meeting is required . We'll try to make it fun and keep it short. However we do need to see you before the event for some important reasons. The meeting will allow us to:

  • relay important race day information and organizational items to you
  • introduce you to other volunteers and your supervisor
  • give you your official volunteer t-shirt to wear at the event
  • tell you where to park and find help
  • go over safety rules
  • answer any remaining questions you may have

Please let us know ASAP if you can’t make the Volunteer Orientation by contacting us.

Volunteer parking areas will vary by job assignment. All volunteers will receive their job assignments, maps and specific instructions at Volunteer Orientation, if not before.
