The shortest of the gravel stages, Stage 2 leads cyclists to Tennille where they meet up with road riders coming from Athens. Cyclists roll out from White Plains and head south towards Sparta and on to Sandersville, before reaching Downtown Tennille and the stage finish at Diamond S Farm.
Today's terrain is mostly gravel with short sections of paved roads.
Gravel roads are a mix of hard compacted dirt, loose small gravel, two notable sections of chunky gravel and one small section of sugar sand (1/10th mile). This day has the most steep climbs.

Getting to the Start
Shuttle service will be available for cyclists who are staying at our partnering hotel properties in Greensboro. The shuttle will start running at 6AM to transport cyclists and their gear to the start where they can pick-up their bikes and prepare for the day.

Shuttles to Lodging
Shuttle service will be available for cyclists who are not camping overnight at this property. The shuttle will run throughout the afternoon and early evening to transport cyclists and their gear to partnering hotel properties in Sandersville. Bikes can be securely stored at the finish until cyclists return for the following day's start.
