Road and gravel cyclists come together for a mass start on the third day. This stage rolls out of Tennille, taking gravel cyclists through Wrightsville, Swainsboro and Twin City before arriving in Statesboro, where they will receive a big welcome at the Statesboro Convention & Visitors Bureau.
Day 3 terrain will be a mix of short paved sections, compacted red dirt roads and sections of sandy dirt roads -- all rideable. With no notable climbs, this day's terrain is flattening out as riders near the coast.

Getting to the Start
Shuttle service will be available for cyclists who are staying at our partnering hotel properties in Sandersville. The shuttle will start running at 6AM to transport cyclists and their gear to the start where they can pick-up their bikes and prepare for the day.

Shuttles to Lodging
Shuttle service will be available for cyclists who are not camping overnight at this property. The shuttle will run throughout the afternoon and early evening to transport cyclists and their gear to partnering hotel properties in Statesboro. Bikes can be securely stored at the finish until cyclists return for the following day's start.
