Riders roll out on the Firefly Trail from Dudley Park in Downtown Athens and continue through Winterville and Crawford before reaching the first aid station at Gillen Bed & Breakfast in Maxeys.
From Gillen B&B, the route takes riders through Woodville to the second aid station at Union Point Theater.
Back on the bikes, the next half of the day takes riders through Sparta to the Hancock County Courthouse and into Linton where they can take a break at the Old Linton School House before riding through Sandersville and the Old Depot in Downtown Tennille before reaching the finish at Diamond S Farm.
After the first 3 miles on the Firefly Trail - a road-separated concrete trail, the rest of the day will take cyclists on 2-lane country roads before reaching Tennille.

The Firefly Trail
Getting to the Start
Cyclists will ride .3 miles to the start using the E Broad Street Trail Head to The Firefly Trail.
Vehicles are not allowed on the trail. Friends, family and spectators will need to walk to the start. Parking is available in Dudley Park for those who want to park and walk to the start line.
Bag Transport
Bags will be picked up from the lobby of each partnering hotel property. Bags should be dropped off in the lobby and ready for pick-up by 7 AM.
Long-term Parking
Parking is available at The Classic Center. See rates and details.
Ride Support
Aid stations and mechanical support will be available throughout the day. See details.
Finish Location Transportation & Parking Details
Tennille Depot
204 W North Central Ave, Tennille, GA 31089
After the finish, cyclists will continue riding for approximately 3 miles to camp sites & bike parking, Bikes can be securely stored at the finish until cyclists return for the following day's start.
Shuttles to Lodging
A shuttle will rotate from camp sites to downtown to partner hotels throughout the afternoon and early evening to transport cyclists to/from lodging for dinner downtown.
