presented by Imerys
This stage brings road and gravel riders together for a mass start out of Tennille. Road cyclists head toward Wrightsville, where they will have their first opportunity to stop at an aid station at the Wrightsville Depot. Next stop, will be in Bartow where cyclists can visit a Jet Food Store for a snack - courtesy of Jet. Or, visit Midnight Run Distillery before heading on to Twin City.
Riders who aren't ready to hop back on the bike in Bartow are welcome to tour the distillery, taste moonshine made in a 200-gallon copper still, and buy more to take home. Ride staff will be happy to transport purchases on to Statesboro.
The day takes riders through rural Georgia on two-lane country roads until they reach the stage finish and a big welcome at the Statesboro Convention & Visitors Bureau!
